Customer loyalty programs - Hyatt Hotels ruling

Taxpayers with customer loyalty programs or gift card companies should revisit the taxation of their programs in light of Hyatt Hotels decision in the Seventh Circuit. Companies may be able to use a reserve to offset future redemptions.
